Training

SAFE’s Competency Based Training packages are tailored to suit the specific equipment used in each operating mine. This process involves assessment of the trainee's needs, information gathering and professional delivery by qualified and technically competent trainers.

Commissioning

Our commissioning engineers are qualified risk engineers all of whom have operational experience in working with operating systems. Additionally, engineering staff are available to provide integrated risk engineering studies and support to clients’ operations including specialist assistance where expertise is required.

Performance Acceptance

Detailed performance assessments of equipment against contractual specifications or design can be crucial to the success of a Longwall project. SAFE is experienced in the Electrical, Hydraulic and Operational constraints of Longwall Mining Equipment and has detailed experience in the development of technical acceptance reports for clients and financiers.

Approvals and Compliance

SAFE has over 10 years’ experience in the development and submission of 'Application for Certificates of Conformity' and the development of Regulatory approvals.

In line with the world wide trend to Risk Based decision making, SAFE carries out extensive risk assessments on each item of plant for clients’ systems.

This risk assessment verifies that the converted or modified equipment is in compliance with the nominated flameproofing specification and that the plant and associated equipment is safe for use in the nominated hazardous areas. This is supported with design verification and, where appropriate, third party testing by one of Australia’s independent, accredited testing authorities.
